Original "If I Had One Wish"

If you had a goldfish in your hands, it would say, "I will grant you one wish, but only one wish" - what would you ask it for?

You shouldn't rush to answer right away, you should think about it at least until morning.

You could talk to your friends, maybe write a post, ask what people would suggest.

It seems so simple – to make a wish. After all, you have a hundred wishes!

But when you have to choose the most important thing - and you know for sure that it will come true - then choosing is difficult.

For example, maybe ask for a lot of money?

But too much money will change your life, you will lose old friends, and you may not like new ones - the rich ones.

Or you could ask for youth. To be young until death.

But then it would be extremely difficult to die. It is easier for an old person to die when the body is tired and wants to rest. But a young body wants to sing, dance, make love, live.

Or maybe you would like to wish for health?

But if you are healthy at the time, then health doesn't seem like something you should ask a goldfish for - after all, you feel good anyway, why waste precious desire on things you already have.

And if I said I want to love. I want to feel an unfading love for one, only person. Someone in whose arms I could hide from fear, someone who would listen to me, not judge me, accept me, forgive me. In whose arms I could fall asleep forever.

I would ask for such a person, I would want such love.
