Can I escape somewhere?
I say, I am a freedom-loving, courageous person, close to nature, and almost wild inside, full of life. Definitely not someone who would care about shiny trinkets, fashionable rags and empty talk. I much prefer silence to the noise of the city, I much prefer the rustling of trees, the roar of a storm to the noise of the streets.

And one day I decided to run: into nature, into the forest, into peace and self-discovery!
I took the bus to the last stop, then walked for two hours wherever my eyes led me.
I'm tired, I'm hungry.
Good thing I packed sandwiches.
But there is nowhere to sit - neither a bench nor a comfortable stone, only damp grass.
I ate standing up.
I saw a bird.
I asked the wind in the trees.
It was getting dark, it was getting cold. And I felt a certain longing. I thought about my friends, sitting comfortably in the cafe tonight, and I remembered how good it was to talk about one's inner freedom, about the world, and the meaning of life.

"I want to go there," I decided and turned back. I'll still have time to catch the last bus, it takes me to the center, and from there it's just three steps to the cafe."
I sat with my forehead pressed against the bus window, looking at the eerily blackening forest: night is not my favorite time of day. Perhaps pure nature is not my home either.
I felt disappointed in myself.
But maybe all is not lost? After all, I saw a bird flying, I heard the wind in the trees.

Maybe I'll go there again the next day.
