She was a clever woman, beautiful and intelligent, she loved life, took its sweetest bites. She dressed stylishly and looked amazing in the photos, she was a real model: golden hair, white smile, small firm chest, long legs - she would be loved by every man.

But something was missing inside. Maybe warmth and gratitude - after all, everything went so easily. You got what you wanted. You just extend your hand - immediately you are showered with kisses and tenderness.

And she really liked it this way - easily and without promises.

It was once upon a time.

Now I often see her walking down the street. Still thin (even too much), hair golden, teeth shiny. But she lives alone - she rents a small apartment on the third floor. He doesn't go out until noon, and at five o'clock he comes down with a shopping trolley - such a bag with wheels.

Slowly creeps down the sidewalk, disappears in the door of the store.

He returns after half an hour. He doesn't say hello to anyone on the street, he walks as if he doesn't see, he looks straight ahead. I say "good evening" to her, but usually she doesn't hear.

Maybe her hearing is really bad - she is already seventy-six.

And one day I met her in a different way: speaking loudly, with shining eyes, straight back and rejuvenated. An elderly man was walking nearby.

He wasn't too attentive, he just walked by, listened, sometimes interjected a word.

But she - I saw - was just on fire!

And the next day I saw them together.

And a week later.

That woman has changed, blossomed. Her withered face smoothed out, she painted her lips, began to dress up. She started trying to be loved.

And maybe she fell in love herself.

That little bit of love - maybe friendship - is so necessary for everyone.
